Staffordshire Biological Recording Scheme publications:

For an introduction to this series, see: Biology Curators Group Newsletter, Vol. 3, Part 6, 1983 for a very substantial profile of the "Stoke-on-Trent City Museum and Art Gallery Natural History Section (G. Halfpenny & D. Steward)". The "Introduction" includes a detailed and thoroughly researched account of the long gestation and forming of the Natural History collections at the city museum in Stoke-on-Trent, and the role of Field Club members in this, via member activity and the "early collections coming via the North Staffordshire Field Club [to] form the nucleus of our holdings". Geoff Halfpenny's later section titled "ALPHABETICAL LIST OF MAJOR COLLECTORS/DONORS" contains short one-paragraph biographies, and these include a number of members of the Field Club.
